Happy independence day to all
August 15 has arrived
Today is independence day
So lets join hands and celebrate

Gandhi, Nehru, Vallabai,
And all the other freedom fighters
Spend their days to free us from
The british rule and lost their lives.

They fought for our nation brave and strong
and gained us freedom once and for all
Now we can look up to the sky
and see our flag waving high.

So lets take a moment to remember those
Who gave up their life for us
And celebrate this day
With pride in our hearts
As we salute our brave warriors
